Laser Hair Removal?
Pre-Treatment RequirementsIt is important to be aware of how to prepare for your scheduled procedures. Below are the pre-treatment requirements and contraindications to be aware of prior to procedures.
All Laser Treatments:No prolonged or excessive sun exposure or tanning, including fake tanning, spray tanning, and bronzers for two to four weeks prior to treatment and 3-5 days post-treatment. No UV sensitive medications, including most antibiotics, for 10-14 days prior to treatment.
Laser Hair Removal:The area(s) to be treated must be freshly shaven prior to appointment. Shaving is required throughout the treatment plan, no waxing, tweezing, threading, hair removal creams or bleaches are to be used at all. No prolonged or excessive sun exposure or tanning, including fake tanning, spray tanning, and bronzers for two to four weeks prior to treatment and 3-5 days post-treatment. No UV sensitive medications, including most antibiotics, for 10-14 days prior to treatment. Pregnant females may not receive any laser treatments. Female patients may not receive treatment in pubic area (Bikini Line, French, Brazilian, Buttocks) during menstruation.
Laser Toe Fungus Removal:All nail polish or nail shellac must be removed. If nails are especially thick, it is recommended that the patient debride the nail to thin the treatment area, allowing for a more effective treatment. White Pearl Medical Spa does not perform nails services such as the filing of the nails, nor is it allowed to be done in the office. It is recommended that patients request this service from a nail salon, cost is usually minimal, or file them at home prior to the treatment. The nail can still be treated if the nail is abnormally thick, however the desired result may take longer to achieve and additional treatments may be necessary.
Botox and Juvederm Dermal Filler Injections:No Aspirin or Blood thinners 7 days prior to prior to treatment.If you are unable to get a treatment due to failure of adhering to the per-treatment requirements and need to cancel, the appointment will count as a same day cancellation and the cancellation policy will apply.

Appointment ReservationsTo ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your next appointment with as much advance notice as possible or at the end of your last visit. Our staff allocates time especially for each guest; therefore a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa appointments are subject to availability.
Cancellations or ReschedulingAs a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24 hour advance notice is required. Any rescheduling for appointments must be done the same day of cancellation by 5:00p.m. to hold any promotional discounts associated with that appointment. A 48 hour advance notice is required for Saturday reservations, any spa packages, multiple treatments, or special appointment reservations. Insufficient notices to cancel or reschedule reservations will be assessed a $25 charge up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of service. A 50% deposit is required to save a reservation on spa packages, for group parties or special appointment reservations, and are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Office RequirementWe accept patients of all ages. Some services may require a guardian present or a guardian release before services are rendered. To ensure safety and relaxation, we ask that only those to whom services are rendered accompany our clients during services. We love children; however, we would never want anyone’s safety or well-being compromised. Also, we want you to relax. We ask that you make childcare arrangements and enjoy the spa or visit with the doctor, without your little ones. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Payments and Gift CardsPayments are accepted in the form of Cash, Checks, and most Major Credit Cards, White Pearl Medical Spa Gift Cards, and Pearl Dollars. There will be a $35 fee for returned checks. Gift Cards may contain specific services or a dollar value. Gift cards for specific services may not be exchanged for different services, but may be upgraded. Gift cards for a dollar value may be used to purchase products, and services at face value, unless otherwise noted. Gift Cards may not be used in the purchase of other gift cards. The Gift Card must be presented at the time of service or retail purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Gift Cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. Gift cards are valid for one year from date of purchase. Menu services, policies, and prices are subject to change without notice. Pearl Dollars are valid towards packages only and may not be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
Packages, Products and ReturnsAll sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be given for any products. No refunds will be given for pre-payments made on packages, or partially used package purchases since they are purchased at a discount. ONLY credit will be given for any unused visits or sessions, to be used for any other services only, no products or additional packages. An adjustment may be made on the received services if the package was purchased on promotion, thus affecting the credit value. *Additional terms for promotional packages may apply. All quotes expire in 30 days unless otherwise noted. *All policies are subject to change. Additional restrictions or courtesies may apply and decided on by management.
